Cyber

Silas resumed using his former codename, Cyber, and decided to hunt down Wolverine again. Cyber chose not to attack Wolverine while he was residing in Krakoa, due to the presence of the nation's more powerful mutants. After the Fall of Krakoa, Wolverine began residing in the Northwest Territories with a wolf pack, giving Cyber an opportunity to hunt him. Cyber hunted down and killed several civilians--including Wolverine's wolf pack--and shot a visiting Nightcrawler to provoke and lure Wolverine out in the open. Wolverine managed to overpower Cyber and gouged out one of his eyes, forcing Cyber to retreat, but after some taunting from Cyber, Wolverine chose to tend to Nightcrawler's wounds instead of pursuing Cyber. While recovering in a nearby cave, Cyber encountered and became possessed by a mysterious gold substance, which healed his injuries and turned his eyes and adamantium skin, and claws to adamantine. While under the metal's possession, Cyber traveled to Kyoto to attack Lady Deathstrike and her henchmen. The gold substance also possessed Deathstrike, turning her adamantium claws and eyes gold just like Cyber.
