During World War II, one of the greatest enemies faced by the hero known as Captain America was the diabolical Nazi scientist Baron Zemo. Today, Zemo's son carries on his father's tradition of evil. Driven by an insane hatred of Captain America-whom he blames for the death of his father-the second Baron Zemo has dedicated his life to taking vengeance on the star-spangled Avenger. Zemo's schemes have led him into alliances with others of his ilk, such as the sinister Red Skull, and caused Zemo to form an army of super-villains known as the Masters of Evil. And yet Zemo has met defeat repeatedly at the hands of Captain America...which only spurs the baneful Baron to try again!
