After the fall of Muir Island, Siryn found solace with Cable's X-Force, eventually rising as the team's field leader. In X-Force, she faced deep personal struggles, battling alcoholism and coping with the loss of her powers due to her damaged vocal folds. With her powers restored, Siryn became part of the X-Corporation, and, after M-Day, she joined X-Factor Investigations. Her time on the team was stained by the deaths of her father and her newborn son, after which she embraced her heritage by adopting the name Banshee, in honor of the former.
