Desert Warbird A common sight among the twisted crags of the Blasted Lands, these mean-spirited beasts of burden are used by traders, warriors, Orcs, and thieves alike to transport goods and treasures from one location to another. Able to survive for weeks in the deepest parts of the desert without food or water, these self-reliant birds possess a mean, possessive streak that few warriors can tame. In a pinch, if survival depends on slaughtering their own mate and chicks to have enough water for the season, these birds won't hesitate and will devour the sweaty innards without remorse. Commonly utilized as mounts by the Atlantean and Revolutionary factions, the Orcs especially favor the Warbird because they ride swiftly, hold up well in combat, and are delicious to eat.
