It was only a matter of time before Jadreen betrayed Darq the Corrupt, and when Darq favored
Carlana, with the title of Mortifactor, Jadreen decided that the
time had come. She captured fellow "Darq's Lady" Ravenbane and brought her along as a
bargaining chip. Jadreen decided to join the Shyft in her constant quest to gain
magical items, as she reasoned that since they
had inhabited the dungeons of the Land so long, they must have the choicest relics available.
