Archenemies: Wolverine vs Sabretooth

For years, Victor was beating and torturing his brother, Saul. on each one of his birthdays. Until one day his sister, Clara, told him that his brother had died and was now free from him.

Victor quickly learned that his brother died at the hands of the man named Logan. He then decided to get his revenge against his brother's killer and went after him. In 1909, he discovered that a serial killer killed three people in as many months. After finding an unconscious Logan in the middle of a crime scene, Victor believed that Logan was the mysterious serial killer the police were after.

Before the police arrived, Victor snatched the unconscious Logan from the crime scene and took him to the Ravencroft Institute in Westchester County where he was working as Nathaniel Essex' assistant. Essex lobotomized Logan, which put him in a comatose state. He then proceeded to cut Logan's left arm off, while Victor was enjoying seeing Logan suffer. One of the doctors, Claudia Russell, was able to free Logan and tried to help him escape, but on their way out the duo was confronted by Victor.
