What Peril awaits you inside the Pyramids

As one of the two chief defenders of the Pyramid, the Jackal tests all the Heroes it encounters to see if they are worthy of the tomb's treasure. Between the Jackal Guardian and the Hawk Guardian, few warriors survive their trials, and fewer yet escape the ancient tomb with gold and relics. Capable of transporting itself throughout the Pyramid merely by stepping from one hieroglyph to the next, the Jackal Guardian can appear at almost any time to hunt down and destroy doomed treasure-­seekers.
