Xandressan Windsman

Xandressa is an Atlantean port city in the south-west of the Land, on the bay leading to Atlantis. Its folk are Xandressans - dark-skinned seafarers who spend most of their lives on trading ships in close-knit families. Because the Xandressans are lightweight and small-framed, they make for excellent Dragonfly riders - a good example of one is Abydor. Xandressans live in ship families.

The Xandressan trading ships are a common sight throughout the rivers and coastal regions of the Land, trading goods and supplies with communities of all sizes and types. While the Xandressans are loyal to their Atlantean masters, paying taxes and transporting Atlantean goods throughout the Land, they also trade with people of all factions, and carry a special neutrality that most warlords are loath to violate. Attacking a Xandressan ship will result in trade abruptly ceasing in that part of the Land, which can devastate the local economy and a warlord's standing within that geographical area.
