Croc Master and the Range Vipers

A member of Cobra, Croc Master is Cobra's reptile trainer. He has a pet alligator and wears a green-scaled vest and boots, and a black face mask that resembles an alligator's face.

When the Oktober Guard members Colonel Brekhov, Daina, and Horrorshow intruded on Cobra Island, Croc Master sent a bunch of alligators against them, but Horrorshow fed them some chicken stuffed with grenades, and the explosive results greatly upset Croc Master. He then smelt the camo paint of Torpedo and Wet-Suit (who were following the Oktober Guard), so he went after Wet-Suit, but, not knowing they were actually two, was knocked out from behind by Torpedo.

In the incarnation of a Marvel comic he appears in, his most prominent characteristic is his reluctance to take orders and submit to authority; as whoever is leading Cobra summons him and a Techno-Viper, he addresses them as his slaves, upon which Croc Master furiously snaps back, "You're what!? Croc Master is no one's slave!"

Throughout some months, Croc Master finds cooking fires, but never finds who makes the fires. Croc Master applauds the cleverness of whoever has been living in the swamp without being caught, so he decides that as long as he keeps to himself and feeds off the little animals, it's nothing to bother about, and decides not to tell his Cobra superiors about it either, or they would think he isn't doing his job.

Croc Master was reunited with the other Cobra operatives for the reception and upcoming celebration of the Star-Viper's return, which was interrupted when an argument between "Cobra Commander" and Serpentor initiated a Civil War.
