Sauron

Dr. Karl Lykos, also known as Sauron, was a brilliant Chilean hypnotherapist. He also became a human-Pteranodon hybrid and would-be conqueror of the "Savage Land", a hidden refuge for Dinosaurs nestled in the modern Antarctic. As a child, he was attacked by a mutated Pteranodon and somehow became an energy vampire, forced to absorb the life energy from animals and humans to survive. By absorbing the life energy of a Mutant, he transformed into his savage alter-ego, "Sauron".
